Actor Detection (AD)

Actor Detection is a “virtual” assistant of Reconeyez user interface operator, offering automated decision-making and classification of potential threats on alarm pictures.

When Actor Detector identifies one of the pre-defined actors (car, person, truck, bicycle etc), it can then assist operator in dismissing/reporting alarms if such function is activated on the server.

Grey robot symbol indicates no object detected on image (sent to Dismissed events) by AD.

Red robot symbol indicates that a person/vehicle/animal was detected on the photo (sent to Alarms) by AD.

Alarm Criteria feature helps to filter the received alarms better in Reconeyez UI (Autoalarms folder with appropriate tag) and for forwarding to third party integrations (forward only tags: car, person etc).

In User Interface under Devices menu, select the device on which you want to set the alarm criteria.

Clicking on Detailed Alarm Criteria opens a drop-down menu where you can select which objects you want to monitor.

For example, if you select a person and a bicycle, alarms will only be sent if a person/bicycle is detected in the photo, in which case the car movement will go to the Auto Dismissed Events folder.

By scrolling down, you can press Define alarm area on photo. By clicking on Alarm Area you can use the red box to determine the area. If a person/bicycle has been previously marked, then the system will only send an alarm if the movement of a person/bicycle is detected in the selected area (red box).
